Brown University Health is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of the physical plant, systems, and grounds at Newport Hospital in Newport, RI.
About the Role
As the Facilities Operations Manager, you will manage the repair, design, modification, and preservation of buildings and grounds. You will ensure that all mechanical, electrical, heating, ventilation, and cooling systems are operational and compliant with applicable standards and regulations. Your role will involve leadership in developing policies, managing human resources, financial management, and ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
About You
Required:
- BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent degree or equivalent training and experience.
- Five years comparable management experience in healthcare facilities management or related field.
- Knowledge of plant engineering services including mechanical and electrical systems, medical appliance electronics, electro-mechanical systems, refrigeration and cooling, plumbing, heating, carpentry, painting, landscaping, and architecture.
