About the Role
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, business, healthcare administration or related area, plus three (3) years of related experience/training, OR Seven (7) years of related experience, education/training.
- Experience in space planning, functional-space programming, equipment planning, logistics planning, move management and coordination, and/or capital project development, preferably in a complex healthcare organization.
- Proven ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications.
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical centers and university organizations.
- Solid ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to coordinate the work of individuals across various health systems.
- Effectively present findings and communicate clearly to a broad variety of people.
- Working knowledge of computer systems and applications.
- Ability to employ interpersonal skills in situations calling for tact, diplomacy, and flexibility.
- Experience tracking metrics, analyzing data, creating summary reports on key performance indicators.
- Master’s degree in architecture, professional engineering, healthcare administration, or other planning-related field.
- Experience with CAFM software for space management.
- Experience in move planning, space planning, transition/activation, and logistics.
- Exposure to clinical operations and workflow.
- Demonstrated experience with HCAI and CDPH or similar regulatory agencies.
- Understanding of medical equipment planning and procurement.
