Summary
SAIC is seeking a Facility Security Officer to join their team in Orlando, FL. The role involves overseeing security operations and ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.
About the Role
As a Facility Security Officer, you will be responsible for preparing and completing security audits, processing personnel security clearances, implementing visitor control, and ensuring the proper handling of classified materials. You will also conduct program briefings, support compliance meetings, and liaise with customer and subcontractor security offices.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree and six (6) years or more related experience, or a Master's degree and four (4) years or more related experience.
- Must be a US Citizen with a current/active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
- Must currently hold or be able to obtain the FSO certification within six (6) months of hire.
- Minimum of 5 years of security administration experience.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Expert skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Outlook.
Preferred:
- Previous experience as a Facility Security Officer supporting programs and managing clearances.
- Experience with DoD Community organizations.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
