About the Role
As a Faculty, Surgical Technology Skills, you will teach Surgical Technology courses through hands-on lab instruction, classroom lectures, and clinical training. You will create engaging course materials, assess student progress, collaborate on curriculum updates, and support recruitment initiatives while maintaining accurate academic records.
About You
Required:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in any field.
- Associate’s degree or certificate in Surgical Technology or Surgical Services from a regionally accredited college/university.
- Valid national certification from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- A minimum of 3 years of full-time operating room experience as a surgical technologist and/or instructional experience in the field.
- Experience with tech tools and a student-centered approach to education.
Preferred:
- Prior teaching experience in the field.
