About the Role
As a Product Design Engineering Co-op, you will work closely with a team of product innovators to drive Shark products from early concept through market launch. Your responsibilities will include developing new product concepts, collaborating with industrial design and engineering teams, leading design studies, and building prototypes. You will approach engineering challenges with curiosity and resilience, continuously refining solutions to enhance product excellence.
About You
Required:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program, or have graduated within the past year.
- Strong experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or Rhino).
- Strong experience using basic prototyping tools (3D printing, shop competency).
- Ability to communicate design intent and technical solutions clearly.
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience building physical prototypes using various materials.
- Basic understanding of electronics and components used in small appliances.
- Experience with rapid prototyping platforms such as Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
