Child and Family Focus Inc. is seeking a Family Based Therapist to join their team in Norristown, PA. The role involves providing family therapy and resource coordination to children and families in a flexible and supportive environment.
About the Role
As a Family Based Therapist, you will work in two-person clinical teams to deliver quality family therapy and resource coordination. Your responsibilities will include engaging young people and their families, maintaining a caseload of 6 to 8 clients, attending training in Eco-Systemic Family Therapy, and providing individual and family therapy sessions. You will also be responsible for maintaining client files and providing on-call duties as scheduled.
About You
Required:
- Graduate degree in psychiatry, psychology, social work, nursing, education, rehabilitation, or in the field of human services with at least 2 years of experience in a CASSP system program.
- Licensed registered nurse (RN) with at least 5 years of experience, including at least 2 years in a CASSP system program, and certification by the Department's Office of Mental Health (OMH) as a mental health family based worker.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, education, pre-med, theology, anthropology, or in the field of human services with certification by OMH as a mental health family based worker.
