Jeremiah Program is seeking a Family Coach to join their team at the JP Campus in Greater Boston. The role involves providing transformative coaching to single mothers to help them secure foundational needs, complete higher education, and ensure their children thrive.
About the Role
As a Family Coach, you will support mothers in setting and achieving personal and academic goals through ongoing coaching and resource connection. You will co-develop individual goal plans, act as an accountability partner, and provide crisis intervention and guidance. Additionally, you will facilitate programming that fosters community and support for both mothers and their children, while maintaining accurate documentation and adapting programming based on participant needs.
About You
Required:
BA/BS in human services, social work, or related field.
At least two years of coaching experience, preferably with training in life, family, or executive coaching.
Strong ability to interact effectively with diverse groups and build collaborations.
Understanding of structural inequities leading to generational poverty.
Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn Salesforce database.
Preferred:
Master's degree in a relevant field.
Experience in community resources and educational support.
