Summary
CAO is seeking a Family & Community Partnership Coordinator to join their team in Buffalo, NY. The role involves collaborating with child care providers to ensure comprehensive Early Head Start services for children and families.
About the Role
As a Family & Community Partnership Coordinator, you will work closely with the EHS CCP Manager and Family/Community Service Area Manager to coordinate training and provide ongoing support for the Family and Community Partnership content area. Your responsibilities will include recruiting and enrolling children in the EHS CCP program, ensuring compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, facilitating meetings and trainings, engaging parents in program activities, and monitoring children's attendance.
About You
Required:- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Sociology, or Community Organization, plus one (1) year experience in social service community working with low income children and families.
- Ability to instruct and guide parents; ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
Preferred:- Associate Degree in Human Services, Sociology, Community Organization or related fields, plus two (2) years experience in working with low children and families.
