About the Role
As a Family Crisis Intervention Specialist, you will conduct in-home visits 3-5 times a week to assess family needs and create targeted intervention plans. You will coordinate with local Child Protective Services, utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, and prepare necessary documentation. Your work will directly impact families at risk of separation, helping them develop skills to safely care for their children.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, social sciences, human services, or a related field with at least two years of experience working with children and families, or a master's degree in social work or human services with relevant experience.
- Demonstrated clinical and crisis intervention skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license and three years of driving experience in the U.S.
- Pass a criminal history screen and maintain a reliable automobile with proof of insurance.
Preferred:
- Experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques.
- Familiarity with family intervention strategies.
