About the Role
As a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner, you will examine, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages, perform initial history and physical examinations, provide ongoing outpatient care, prescribe medications, order diagnostic studies, and educate patients and families on preventive care and medical conditions. You will also ensure compliance with relevant standards and participate in on-call coverage as needed.
About You
Required:
- Valid license to practice in the State of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of medicine and allied services.
Preferred:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric experience or family medicine experience.
