About the Role
As a Family Nurse Practitioner (PRN)/Physicians Assistant, you will collaborate with the physician/medical director to take patient histories, perform physical examinations, and manage care for common illnesses. You will also conduct psychiatric assessments, oversee medication education, and participate in treatment planning within a multidisciplinary team. The position requires documentation of client progress and participation in quality assurance programs.
About You
Required:
- 1+ year of experience in the delivery of behavioral health, addiction treatment and/or delivery of family health treatment to adults.
- AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State.
- Registered in AZ as Nurse Practitioner.
- Certification in buprenorphine administration.
- Unrestricted DEA license.
- Valid BLS, CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Completion of an approved nursing program allowing licensure as an RN in the state of Arizona.
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Preferred:
- Dual certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Doctorate of Nursing Practice.
- ACLS certification.
