About the Role
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will perform patient history and physical examinations, document medical progress, write orders for laboratory work and medication, and advise patients on medication usage. You will also participate in clinical staffing and ensure compliance with health information confidentiality regulations.
About You
Required:
- Nurse Practitioner Certification from an accredited college/university.
- Current Registered Nurse State license.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Legible handwriting.
- Continuing education as required for state licensure/certification.
- Proof of current malpractice insurance coverage with up to $1 million per occurrence.
Preferred:
- A minimum of one year in chemical dependency treatment.
