About the Role
As a Family Peer Advocate II, you will provide informational and educational support to families, assist with service navigation, and promote effective family-driven practices. You will lead projects, mentor level I staff, and facilitate parent training and education. This position requires flexibility in working hours to meet family needs and involves maintaining compliance with various standards.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of 'lived experience' required based on program and funder requirements.
- Minimum 18 months of related work experience required.
Preferred:
- Experience as a parent/caregiver of a child with social, emotional, developmental, medical, substance use, and/or behavioral challenges.
- Personal 'lived experience' as a person with social, emotional, developmental, medical, substance use, and/or behavioral challenges.
