About the Role
As a Staff Physician, you will be responsible for creating ongoing primary care relationships with patients, diagnosing and treating within the scope of your California license and Family Medicine Board Certification. You will work with a diverse patient panel, including those who identify as gender-diverse, and provide counseling, hormone therapy management, and mental health support. The position includes dedicated administrative time for care coordination and opportunities to precept Family Medicine Residents or Nurse Practitioners.
About You
Required:
- Active California License in good standing with the Medical Board of California.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine.
- Current CPR (BLS adequate) certifications.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English (speak, read, and write) in a medical setting.
- Experience with providing gender-affirming care to gender-diverse adults.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated proficiency with procedures and tasks on the Staff Physician competency list.
- Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Epic.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
