About the Role
As a Family Practice Physician, you will examine, diagnose, and treat patients seeking acute medical care. You will determine the necessity for referrals, supervise physician assistants and nurse practitioners, and maintain EHR patient records. The role also includes advising patients on health issues, coordinating services, and participating in quality assurance and improvement meetings.
About You
Required:
- Possession of a valid Physicians and Surgeons Certificate issued by the State of California.
- Knowledge of modern medicine principles including preventive medicine.
- BLS/CPR certification.
Preferred:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly preferred.
- Experience in community health services.
