Summary
Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a Family Preservation Child and Family Skills Coach to join their team in Evansville, IN. The role involves providing case management, skills training, and other services to children and their families.
About the Role
As a Family Preservation Child and Family Skills Coach, you will be responsible for community-based case management, skills training, and development for children and their families. Your daily tasks will include conducting family, individual, and group counseling, providing emergency counseling and crisis intervention, maintaining records of services, and participating in staff meetings and training. You will also conduct consultation and education activities to enhance community awareness.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or other related degrees.
- Experience working with children who have serious emotional disturbances.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance that meets Indiana State minimum coverage requirements.
Preferred:
- Ability to assess emergency situations and react in an appropriate and therapeutic manner.
- Experience in case management and coordinating treatment processes.
