Summary
RouteElite LLC is seeking a FedEx Delivery Driver to join their team in Lorton, VA. The role involves making local residential and business deliveries as a full-time driver.
About the Role
As a FedEx Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating your vehicle, delivering and picking up packages to businesses and residences, performing daily vehicle inspections, loading your vehicle for deliveries, and providing exceptional customer service. You will be expected to perform up to 150 stops a day and work independently as well as part of a team.
About You
Required:
- Be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
- Pass a drug test (includes marijuana) with continued random drug screens throughout employment.
- Pass a DOT physical.
- Be able to safely lift/carry up to 75 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with hand truck.
- Pass FedEx Ground criminal background check.
- Have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Be on time and ready to work each workday.
- Be able to climb stairs.
- Be able to work in all types of weather.
- Have a strong work ethic and get it done attitude.
Preferred:
- Previous experience as a Local Driver, Route Driver, Truck Driver, Courier, or Delivery Driver.
- Experience driving for UPS, Amazon, previous FedEx companies, DHL, Wal-Mart, Uber, Lyft, or similar companies.
