About the Role
As a Fellow, High Capacity Storage Solutions Architecture, you will be responsible for developing deep technical engagements with customers and partners, identifying key future technology trends, and setting technical strategies for product roadmaps. You will own the medium to long-term technology vision for High Capacity Storage Solutions, define features to optimize products, and collaborate with engineering and operations teams to drive new business opportunities. Additionally, you will represent Micron in leadership positions at industry organizations and assist in evaluating new technologies.
About You
Required:
- Technical Leadership experience delivering solid state storage products to market.
- Experience in strategic planning, architecture, and system engineering in storage devices and solutions.
- Understanding of how memory and storage products impact system performance for various workloads.
- Detailed knowledge of PCIe and NVMe interfaces.
- Detailed knowledge of NAND flash and solid state drives.
- Detailed knowledge of cloud, storage, and compute software stacks such as Linux, Windows, VMWare, Kubernetes, OpenStack.
- Working knowledge of storage device security protocols.
- Working knowledge of enterprise storage/networking architectures and performance validation techniques.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure.
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Proven successful industry leadership experience.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science; an MBA is a plus.
