About the Role
As a Fiber Optic Technician, you will be responsible for installing new network components, maintaining and troubleshooting network connections, and repairing traffic control devices. Your daily tasks will include operating various tools and equipment, responding to emergency calls, and performing scheduled inspections and maintenance on traffic signal systems. You will also analyze field problems and ensure compliance with construction standards.
About You
Required:
- Four to six years of experience in installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of electrical or electronic equipment, communications equipment, and networks.
- Valid Current Commercial Driver's License.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of proper fiber and copper installation techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity across wide area and local area networks.
