About the Role
As a Field Application Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing 2D drawings and 3D CAD models, preparing DFM reports, supporting product development phases, collaborating with business development teams, and providing technical support to customers. You will also facilitate communication between customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in SMT (Surface Mount Technology), PCB design engineering, or a closely related role within electronics manufacturing.
- Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin).
Preferred:
- Specific experience with phone products.
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role or sales engineering.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and CAM software (e.g., CAM350, inCAM).
