About the Role
As a Part-Time Field Interviewer, you will be responsible for making face-to-face visits to selected households to screen for eligible respondents and conduct in-person NSFG interviews. This role requires asking sensitive questions in a private setting using a project-provided tablet. You will also manage administrative duties, transmit data, and maintain regular communication with your supervisor.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Effective communication skills through speech and listening.
- Fluency in English through reading, writing, and speaking.
- Valid US driver's license and reliable personal automobile available for business use.
- Comfortable using RTI issued tablet, laptop, and other associated equipment.
- Access to password-protected Wi-Fi connection for data transmissions.
- Willingness to work approximately 20 hours a week, including weekends and weekday evenings.
Preferred:
- Positive, self-motivated, curious, and enjoy interacting with people from a variety of backgrounds.
- Effective time, schedule, and workload management skills.
- Experience conducting in-person, household interviews with randomly selected respondents.
- Willingness to travel to other areas in geographical region for short periods of time.
