About the Role
As a Field Service Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, conducting regular inspections, and performing system updates. The position requires frequent travel and hands-on technical work, with a focus on generating electrical schematics, conducting risk assessments, and leading control system projects from concept to commissioning.
About You
Required:
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
Five years of field experience in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Beckhoff, Omron).
Three years or more experience in HMI/SCADA configuration (Wonderware, Ignition, WinCC, FactoryTalk View).
Proficiency in industrial Ethernet (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
Experience with motion control systems, PID tuning, and loop control.
Preferred:
5-8+ years in automated warehouse material handling systems.
Experience in e-commerce or high-throughput logistics environments (e.g., Amazon, Ocado, DHL).
Familiarity with cloud-based automation monitoring or BBMS platforms.
