Accuray is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team in the Sacramento, CA area. The role involves providing customer support through on-site installation, troubleshooting, and repair of complex radiotherapy systems.
About the Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, upgrade, and maintenance of TomoTherapy and CyberKnife systems at customer sites. You will promote customer satisfaction through effective communication and timely responses to service requests. The role requires self-management of your schedule and work priorities, as well as maintaining documentation of work activities. You will also provide feedback for service-related product improvements and assist in the development of service tools.
About You
Required:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in field service, installation, and troubleshooting complex electronic equipment or a bachelor's degree with less field experience considered.
Strong system level troubleshooting skills.
Strong computer skills with an understanding of basic networking.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically active environment.
Preferred:
Previous experience in large medical device field service strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Knowledge of medical linear accelerator or microwave RF systems and computer networks preferred.
Robotics and/or electro-mechanical systems service experience preferred.
