Intuitive is seeking a Field Service Engineer 2 for the 2nd Shift to join their team in San Francisco, CA. The role involves installation, support, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of robotic-assisted surgical products.
About the Role
As a Field Service Engineer 2, you will ensure that all service agreements and warranty obligations are met while exceeding customer expectations. You will provide technical support, conduct training sessions, perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot and repair products, and manage your assigned area of responsibility. This position requires working second shift hours, typically from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
About You
Required:
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to travel up to 75% as required.
- Willingness to perform ad hoc tasks assigned by management.
- Ability to work a flex shift or second shift as required.
Preferred:
- 1-3 years of Field Service Experience.
- Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent training/experience.
- Proven track record of troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- General computer skills.
