LGG Industrial is seeking a Field Service Specialist to join their team in Wheeling, WV. The role involves performing splices and installation on various types of conveyor belts and components to meet customer and industry requirements.
About the Role
As a Field Service Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining safety policies, working closely with supervisors and team members, providing onsite customer service, and performing conveyor belt installations. You will also be required to travel for out-of-town jobs and perform other field service and warehouse tasks as needed.
About You
Required:
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- At least 3 years of experience working with conveyors and conveyor components.
- High school diploma/GED.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and safely drive a company truck.
- Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required.
- Basic math skills and ability to measure with a tape measure.
- Ability to travel regularly.
- Must pass a DOT physical exam or have a current DOT medical card.
Preferred:
- Experience working with conveyors and conveyor components.
- Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent education and production maintenance experience.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Knowledge of maintenance and repair of machinery.
- OSHA 10 and MSHA certifications.
- First aid and CPR certifications.
