About the Role
As a Field Service Superintendent, you will act as the leading technical expert in the field, supervising service execution and serving as the primary customer interface. Your responsibilities will include coordinating field service projects, conducting field audits, providing technical guidance, mentoring personnel, maintaining communication with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Significant experience in field service operations within power generation, mechanical systems, or reciprocating engines.
- Experience supervising or leading technical teams in the field.
- Strong technical expertise in mechanical and reciprocating engine systems.
- Ability to coordinate multi-resource field activities and manage customer-facing operations.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
Preferred:
- Experience with Wärtsilä engine platforms or similar energy-sector technologies.
- Prior experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Training or certification in field service management, quality systems, or safety compliance.
- Strong customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working in cross-cultural or global service environments.
