Summary
Invenergy is seeking a Field Service Technician – 100% Travel (Rotational Position 4 weeks traveling, 1 week off) to join their team. The role involves performing and training on major component replacements and repair services across the Invenergy fleet.
About the Role
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, training site personnel, leading teams for major component replacements, and ensuring all operations are performed safely. You will travel for 4-week intervals and return home for a week off, working primarily in various states including Wisconsin, Illinois, South Dakota, Iowa, and Minnesota.
About You
Required:
- One (1) year technical experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.) and/or technical education.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather and climb ladders without assistance.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship.
Preferred:
- Two (2) years technical experience and/or technical education related to renewable energy systems.
- Strong interest and understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Self-motivator with experience in multiple platforms.
- Ability to effectively use software systems to troubleshoot issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
