Summary
Komatsu is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team in Billings, Montana. The role involves maintaining and repairing Komatsu underground equipment and ensuring timely, effective repairs of machine components in the field.
About the Role
As a Field Service Technician, you will inspect equipment for proper performance, troubleshoot and diagnose faults, adjust and repair equipment, commission new equipment, provide customer training, and maintain accurate records. You will also build strong relationships with customers and ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
About You
Required:
- Associate Degree in Diesel Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Flexibility to work various schedules including shift work.
- Certified to operate a forklift and/or manlift.
- Required to complete MSHA certification.
Preferred:
- Experience with HAZMAT rules and regulations.
- Ability to complete a DOT physical.
