About the Role
As a Field Service Technician I, you will be responsible for servicing self-checkout systems and other electromechanical equipment within an assigned territory. You will perform maintenance, repairs, and system overhauls while ensuring prompt and effective service to customers. The position requires strong communication skills to triage customer issues and provide solutions, supported by formal training provided by NCR Voyix.
About You
Required:
- Local candidate to specific geographic area.
- Authorized to work in the US.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and driving record that satisfies NCR fleet requirements.
- PC skills, basic electronic skills, and familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems.
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day.
- Willingness to work rotating and weekend shifts.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.
- A+ Certification, CompTIA, N+ Certification.
- One or more years of related experience.
