Summary
Intapp is seeking a Finance Revenue Accounting Intern to join their finance revenue accounting team in a hybrid role based in Palo Alto, CA. The intern will support the team in analyzing, recording, and reporting revenue transactions.
About the Role
As a Finance Revenue Accounting Intern, you will assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities, including contract reviews, revenue analysis, journal entry preparation, and account reconciliations. You will gather financial data, perform analyses, ensure compliance with accounting policies, and support process improvements and audits.
About You
Required:
- Enrolled in a program for a Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 0-1 years of general accounting skills and US GAAP knowledge.
- Understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
- Strong understanding of internal controls, accounting policies & procedures.
- Academic knowledge on completing monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
- High level of initiative and ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated and self-directed with demonstrated ability to work well with people.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with NetSuite.
- Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
