Summary
EY is seeking a Financial Accounting Advisory Services - Assistant Controller to join their Integrated Finance Managed Services team. The role involves supporting the execution of IFMS engagements and ensuring compliance in financial activities.
About the Role
As an Assistant Controller, you will collaborate with Central and Regional IFMS Delivery Executives to resolve operational challenges, monitor service delivery health, assist in general accounting functions, and support SEC filings. You will also contribute to cross-functional initiatives and maintain EY's financial systems.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business discipline.
- US CPA licensure in your work state.
- 5+ years of accounting experience focused on financial reporting and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with financial software systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred:
- Working experience with SAP, Certent, FloQast, Active Disclosure, Concur, Ariba.
- Experience with SEC filings and audit processes.
- Experience in a clinical stage bioscience/pharmaceutical company.
