Summary
Abbott is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team in Austin, TX. The role involves consolidation and reporting of Neuromodulation monthly results, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
About the Role
As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing financial presentation content for executive meetings, participating in various projects, assisting with monthly financial closing activities, and preparing financial models and ad hoc analysis. You will work closely with business partners to consolidate month-end analysis and commentary related to the financial close cycle.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
- 2+ years of experience performing financial and variance analysis, forecasting, planning, and financial modeling.
- Expertise working with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience working with financial systems applications.
- Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor.
- Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
Preferred:
- Medical device industry experience.
- Experience with SAP, Business Objects and Hyperion Essbase.
- Global business experience.
