About the Role
As a Financial Consultant, you will engage potential leads, deepen client relationships, and provide situational guidance on Vanguard products and services. You will conduct financial needs analyses, manage a diverse book of clients, and lead outreach efforts to convert sales leads. Additionally, you will coach peers and contribute to a collaborative environment within the department.
About You
Required:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- At least three years of related work experience, ideally within financial services.
- Experience managing a book of business and delivering exceptional client experiences.
- Strong consultative sales skills and the ability to translate financial complexity into client confidence.
- Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and time-management instincts.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Required regulatory licensing: SIE and Series 7 prior to start; Series 63/65 or 66 (or equivalent designations where eligible).
Preferred:
- Broad knowledge of Vanguard funds, products, markets, and services.
