Summary
Metric Geo is seeking a Financial Controller to join their team in Northern California / Southern Oregon. The role involves managing the finances of a manufacturing business and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
About the Role
As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing the manufacturing business's financial statements, analyzing them for potential cost improvements, developing and leading cost improvement projects, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and managing a team of 2 direct reports.
About You
Required:
- 5 years of experience in FP&A, Costing or Accounting.
- 2 years of experience working for a manufacturing business.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft or another ERP system.
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills.
Preferred:
- CPA/CMA Certification.
- Understanding of LEAN concepts.
