About the Role
As a Financial Counselor I, you will provide one-on-one financial counseling to customers, analyze their financial conditions, and build action plans to help them achieve their goals. You will also facilitate group learnings, develop community relationships, and assist in recruiting for wealth building programs. The position requires maintaining product knowledge and effectively using digital platforms for data tracking and reporting.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of five years of experience in a credit or financial counselor role or related field.
- HUD housing counselor certification required within six months of hire.
- Accredited Financial Counseling certification or commitment to begin coursework within sixty days of start date.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload and work independently.
Preferred:
- Experience in community outreach and business development techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems.
