About the Role
As a Financial Data Analyst, you will support financial model production, analyze complex datasets, build automated reporting using SQL and Power BI, design dashboards, assist in financial forecasting, support budgeting activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will also mentor team members and stay updated on industry trends.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis / FP&A in the insurance industry.
- Proficient SQL and Power BI skills, data mining and data visualization.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Statutory Accounting Principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with financial planning software and automation.
