Atrium Health is seeking a Financial Operations Analyst Senior to join their team in Charlotte, NC. The role involves preparing complex financial analyses and risk assessments to support informed decision-making and operational improvements.
About the Role
As a Financial Operations Analyst Senior, you will be responsible for conducting product line cost and profitability analyses, physician health organization performance analyses, and clinical integration incentive analyses. You will also perform annual forecasts, budgets, and monthly close activities, while preparing financial and operational reports. This position requires collaboration with operating units and reviewing junior staff's work.
About You
Required:
- 5 years accounting/finance experience in health insurance, hospital, and/or physician groups.
- BA or BS in Accounting, Finance or Business.
- Advanced analytical skills, including ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data and reach sound conclusions.
- Advanced computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred:
- CPA or CHFP certification.
- Good communication skills, including verbal communication and business writing.
- Working knowledge in healthcare insurance industry, hospital operations, and/or physician practices.
- Good project management and time management skills.
