About the Role
As a Tax Services Manager, you will work in the Business Tax Advisory practice, focusing on U.S. tax information reporting and withholding matters. You will engage in challenging projects across various financial services sectors, assisting clients with operational tax issues and customer reporting. Your responsibilities will include interpreting IRS regulations, conducting gap analyses, drafting guidance, and preparing documentation. You will also support the development of innovative technology solutions and manage staff in remote delivery centers.
About You
Required:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and J.D., LL.M. in Taxation, and/or Master's in Taxation (MST) preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant tax consulting or tax operational experience.
- Licensed attorney, CPA, Project Management Professional, Six Sigma, Lean or equivalent certification, or ability to obtain one of these designations.
Preferred:
- Active participation in industry groups such as SIFMA, ABA, IIB.
- Ability to understand and implement tax rules.
- Demonstrated interest in tax information reporting and withholding work in Chapter 3, Chapter 4, and Chapter 61.
