Summary
Johnson Controls is seeking a Fire Construction Sales Manager to lead the strategy and development of new construction and retrofit fire projects in Huntington Beach, CA.
About the Role
As a Fire Construction Sales Manager, you will build long-term relationships with Electrical Contractors, Consulting Engineers, and General Contractors to drive sales of JCI offerings. You will manage a sales team, develop sales strategies, and ensure the team meets customer and sales goals. Your role includes coaching team members, collaborating with peers, and understanding market potential to position JCI effectively in the construction industry.
About You
Required:
- University Degree in business or associated discipline (marketing or engineering preferred).
- Five (5) plus years professional sales experience in a related field (Fire protection, Security or related/adjacent construction business preferred).
- Demonstrated skills in managing a high volume/transaction sales team.
Preferred:
- Experience in project management and successful selling at all customer levels.
- Strong communication and team building skills.
- Experience in managing a team through significant organizational change.
