About the Role
As a Fire Medic, you will be responsible for leading the Emergency Response Team, responding to various emergencies including fires and hazardous materials incidents, conducting inspections and audits of emergency equipment, providing first aid and emergency medical treatment, and collaborating with the Fire Chief on training and emergency plans.
About You
Required:
- Certified Intermediate EMT with National Registry.
- Operations Level trained in hazardous material response.
- Trained to Firefighter Mod. 1.
- Ability to work shift rotation including nights and weekends.
Preferred:
- Fire Officer 1 certification.
- Trained in all aspects of Incident Command.
- Trained in rescue operations.
- Trained in basic industrial fire fighting.
- Basic knowledge of fire protection systems.
- At least two years of Emergency Response experience.
