Summary
PTS Advance is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer (Mid–Senior Level) to join their team in Dallas–Fort Worth, TX, with hybrid work options available.
About the Role
As a Fire Protection Engineer, you will lead fire protection system design from concept through construction, perform hydraulic calculations and system sizing, design and coordinate sprinkler, standpipe, fire pump, and specialty suppression systems, develop construction documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD, conduct code analysis (IBC, IFC, NFPA standards), coordinate with MEP teams, architects, and contractors, support construction administration and respond to RFIs, and mentor junior designers while contributing to technical standards.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of fire protection engineering or design experience.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and life safety standards.
- Experience with commercial, healthcare, multifamily, industrial, or data center projects.
- Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
Preferred:
- NICET certification (II–IV) for designer-track candidates.
- PE license or EIT for engineering-track candidates.
