RTX is seeking a Fire Protection Principal Specialist to join their Enterprise Services team in Marlborough, MA. The role involves managing fire protection systems to ensure compliance and readiness across various locations.
About the Role
As a Fire Protection Principal Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing fire alarm, prevention, and suppression systems, ensuring they meet all relevant codes and regulations. You will provide technical support, conduct training, and liaise with various stakeholders including local fire departments. Your expertise will guide system evaluations and recommendations to senior management, while also leading compliance with RTX policies and procedures.
About You
Required:
- At least 5 years of experience with Fire Alarm Systems and NFPA 72 installation knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred:
- Project Management experience.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
