About the Role
As a Fire Service Technician, you will respond to service calls, diagnose and repair electronic fire alarm systems, interpret blueprints and technical documentation, and maintain communication with customers. You will also participate in on-call rotations and assist in training team members, ensuring all fire safety equipment operates effectively.
About You
Required:
- 3 plus years’ experience with fire alarm, access control, security intrusion, sound and communications systems.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
- Good working knowledge of computers.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Capable of performing physical labor including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
Preferred:
- Technical training.
- NICET II certification.
