Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Fire Suppression Technician to join their team in the Greater Seattle Area. The role involves installation, inspection, service, and repair of fire extinguishers and suppression systems.
About the Role
As a Fire Suppression Technician, you will be responsible for using various tools and test equipment to repair or replace fire extinguishers and suppression systems. You will need to have a comprehensive knowledge of NFPA codes and standards, troubleshoot defective components, and communicate professionally with customers. The position requires punctuality and the ability to complete projects on time, as well as participation in safety programs and ongoing training.
About You
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2 years of experience in the Fire Life Safety Industry specifically within Fire Suppression.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred:
State or any required certification.
2 years of professional computer skills.
