As a FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC, you will be responsible for combating and extinguishing fires, performing rescue operations, conducting fire prevention inspections, and administering emergency medical care. You will operate firefighting apparatus, participate in training drills, and maintain equipment and facilities. The position requires responding to emergency alarms and ensuring public safety during events.
About You
Required:
- Graduation from a standard high school or its equivalent.
- Holds a valid State of Florida Firefighter Certificate.
- Possess a valid State of Florida Paramedic Certification.
- Valid State of Florida Class 'E' Driver’s License.
- Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Education for Prehospital Providers (PEPP).
- Completion of Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC).
- Candidate Physical Ability Test card/certification (issued within 12 months of the date of job posting).
