About the Role
As a Firewall Operations Solution Architect / Network Sensing Analyst, you will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and management of firewall and network sensing solutions. Your primary duties include monitoring network traffic, analyzing security events, responding to incidents, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance network security. You will also develop and maintain firewall policies and provide support for security audits.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in network security operations, with a focus on firewall management.
- Strong experience with Checkpoint and Palo Alto Firewall technologies.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
Preferred:
- Experience with security monitoring tools such as Splunk.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems for incident management.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
