About the Role
As a Fish Culturist 1, you will learn to collect and select brood stock, operate a fish stocking vehicle, load and transport fish, and monitor their condition. You will also be responsible for repairs and maintenance of facilities and equipment to ensure efficient fish propagation and care. This is a seasonal, full-time position with the potential for permanent employment after a training period.
About You
Required:
- Graduation from high school or equivalent certification of formal training.
- Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License.
Preferred:
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License for vehicles over 26,000 lbs.
- Experience in outdoor work and a passion for natural resources.
