About the Role

As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will be responsible for completing applications, gathering supporting documentation, reviewing regulatory disclosures, maintaining and generating referral business, quoting interest rates, collecting application fees, inputting data into Loan Origination Software, utilizing automated underwriting systems, and communicating with customers regarding loan status. You will also mentor other Loan Officers and participate in community outreach functions.

About You

Required:

Has a valid NMLS number.
Has at least 1-year experience originating VA, FHA, Conventional and VHDA loans.
Has a proven sales record based on closed loan production.
Currently possess sources of referral business for purchase transactions.
Has a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Has an awareness of FNMA/FHLMC, FHA, VA and VHDA underwriting guidelines.

Preferred:

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Working knowledge of Encompass software.
