MBH Architects is seeking a Fixture Design Project Manager to join their team in the San Francisco Bay Area. This hybrid role focuses on guiding project teams through the entire project lifecycle, including scope, budget, schedule, and work plan adherence.
About the Role
As a Fixture Design Project Manager, you will understand and align with client objectives, build trust, manage project scope, staffing, schedules, budgets, and revenue projections. You will lead internal teams, manage deliverables and client communications, review technical drawings, collaborate with teams and vendors, provide design support, mentor junior staff, and contribute to research and innovation in retail environments.
About You
Required:
Experience leading a design engineering team with a focus in metal and wood manufacturing.
Hands-on experience with prototyping, product testing, and working directly with clients and vendors.
Skilled in design software such as Revit, Rhino, Inventor, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
Familiar with project management tools like Quip, Bluebeam, Wrike, OmniPlan, or Jira.
Preferred:
Retail experience.
Background in architecture, industrial design, engineering, or related creative fields.
