About the Role
As a Fleet Dispatcher, you will coordinate and schedule daily fuel, lubricant, and DEF deliveries to commercial, industrial, and fleet customers. You will dispatch company drivers and tank wagons for local and regional routes, monitor delivery progress using GPS and dispatch software, and maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities. Collaboration with operations, sales, and accounting teams is essential to ensure smooth scheduling and customer satisfaction.
About You
Required:
- Previous dispatch experience in fuel, lubricant, or transportation operations preferred.
- Working knowledge of dispatch systems, routing, and GPS tracking software.
- Strong understanding of Chicago-area geography and surrounding Midwest regions.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and manage time-sensitive logistics.
- A strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and customer service.
